Xseed Academy was inspired to transform Australian education. As migrants, Newman Kurian and Honey Jose knew little about the Selective Test and its impact on a child’s educational journey. After supporting their own children to gain entry into Chatswood Primary’s Opportunity Class, securing private school scholarships, and being accepted into the top selective school, James Ruse Agricultural High School, they were determined to help many more families across Australia. This vision led them to create OC and Selective materials, which they offered through Xseed Academy’s website. 

Just four years later, their eldest daughter, Anna Newman, graduated from James Ruse with an ATAR of 99.95, earning state ranks in Chemistry and Agriculture. With their collective passion for teaching and supporting students, Xseed grew from an online resource into a thriving educational centre in Hornsby, teaching over 50 students each week.
